We are glad you stopped by. Please visit us often.

Our worship style is friendly, personal and engaging.  We offer a unified service that includes the sounds of today's culture while honoring the unchanging relevance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our life with time-honored forms of worship, music and prayer. Child care is available during the worship service.

Together

Whether you are a believer or a seeker we welcome you to our Church family.  We promise you won't be a face in the crowd.

We believe that prayer is the means of releasing the power of God to accomplish His will in our lives.  We support one another and our community through an active prayer ministry.

Our Goal

As a Church of Jesus Christ we will endeavor by example and effort to draw persons into a saving relationship with Christ and into the fellowship of His Church. We will continually seek to demonstrate our love for Christ through loving service to each other and to the world beyond our doors.

Our Covenant

Acknowledging Jesus Christ to be our Savior and Lord, and accepting the Holy Scriptures as our rule of faith and practice, we covenant with the Lord and with one another, and pledge ourselves in the presence of God to walk together in His holy ways. We will strive to be doers of the Word and not hearers only, to be firm in faith, quickened in hope, and constant in love. We will consecrate our time, talent, substance and influence as heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ.

Activities & Events

Winter Storms: This is New England and if there is anything that we can count on, it is the unpredictability of the winter weather. Again this year we are asking you to tune to these TV stations where we will post worship service and Sunday School postponements and cancellations: WBZ (ch 4), WCVB (ch 5) and WHDH (ch 7). Please travel safely!

Collection for Hudson Food Pantry:  Sunday, February 5, is the first Sunday of the month and we will receive donations for the Hudson Food Pantry. Non-perishable food items and paper goods are always needed and appreciated.

Our Father's Table:  Monday, February 13, is the second Monday of the month and is our turn to host Our Father's Table. Members and friends are invited to check the sign-up sheet in Ross Hall for needed items. Thank you to those that have already filled the needed helper roles!. Our Father's Table takes place at First Baptist Church in Marlborough. This is an important community outreach that needs your support.

Special Offerings:  During the months of December and January the Missions Committee is sponsoring two special offerings to support retired ministers and missionaries: the Christmas Fund (UCC) and the Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering (ABC). Remember with love ... give with gratitude; your gift makes a difference.

Call for Help for Our Father's Table:  First Baptist Church of Marlborough hosts Our Father's Table every month and is in great need of having their kitchen refurbished. Volunteers are needed to work there on Saturday mornings. Please call Mark at 978-897-6762 for further information. Financial donations are also appreciated to complete this project.

Heifer International Mission Project:  Our Missions Committee and Sunday School are working together with Heifer International to help end world hunger by raising money to buy animals to be given to a poor family somewhere in the world. These animals are life changing - giving the family the 5 Ms (Milk, Muscle, Maternity, Meat and Manure). Offspring are passed on to another family in the village.  Come join with us and give generously to help end world hunger ... one village at a time.

History

First Federated Church History

The roots of our Federated Church were set when, in 1844, a group of Feltonville citizens asked revivalist Father Hervey Fittz to come out from Boston to hold preaching services at the Felton House, a local hotel.   more...
