We are glad you stopped by. Please visit us often.

Our worship style is friendly, personal and engaging.  We offer a unified service that includes the sounds of today's culture while honoring the unchanging relevance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our life with time-honored forms of worship, music and prayer. Child care is available during the worship service.

Together

Whether you are a believer or a seeker we welcome you to our Church family.  We promise you won't be a face in the crowd.

We believe that prayer is the means of releasing the power of God to accomplish His will in our lives.  We support one another and our community through an active prayer ministry.

Our Goal

As a Church of Jesus Christ we will endeavor by example and effort to draw persons into a saving relationship with Christ and into the fellowship of His Church. We will continually seek to demonstrate our love for Christ through loving service to each other and to the world beyond our doors.

Our Covenant

Acknowledging Jesus Christ to be our Savior and Lord, and accepting the Holy Scriptures as our rule of faith and practice, we covenant with the Lord and with one another, and pledge ourselves in the presence of God to walk together in His holy ways. We will strive to be doers of the Word and not hearers only, to be firm in faith, quickened in hope, and constant in love. We will consecrate our time, talent, substance and influence as heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ.

Activities & Events

Virginia Gray Ordination:  One of our members, Virginia Gray, will be ordained Sunday, June 9, here at First Federated Church during a special 3:00 pm service. Virginia received her Master of Divinity (MDiv) and Doctor of Ministry (DMin) degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and currently serves as our Associate Pastor. A reception in her honor follows the service at approximately 4:30 pm in Ross Hall.   Congratulations Virginia!

Christian Education Sunday:  Sunday, June 2, is Christian Education Sunday. There will be a presentation of Bibles, a children's bell choir, and musical solos by some of our youth. After the service we will gather in Ross Hall for fellowship and a time to make your own ice cream sundaes. Come join in this celebration!

Collection for Hudson Food Pantry:  Additionally, Sunday, June 2, is the first Sunday of the month and we will receive donations for the Hudson Food Pantry. Non-perishable food items and paper goods are always needed and appreciated.

Our Father's Table:  Monday, June 10, is the second Monday of the month and is our turn to host Our Father's Table. Members and friends are invited to check the sign-up sheet in Ross Hall to donate needed items and to be one of the four volunteers to setup, serve and cleanup. Our Father's Table takes place at First Baptist Church in Marlborough. This is an important community outreach that needs your support.

Special Offering:  During the months of May and June the Missions Committee is sponsoring the One Great Hour of Sharing offering . This offering is also supported by both our United Church of Christ and American Baptist Churches denominations. Sharing Resources & Changing Lives - Sharing Brings Joy. Please give generously.

Father's Day:  On Sunday, June 16, we will honor the fathers in our lives. Please note that worship time returns to 9:30 am for the Summer on that day.

Devotionals Available:  The March/April/May issue of Our Daily Bread devotional is available inside the front entrance of the sanctuary. Please take a copy for yourself, family, friends, or to bring to those that can't be here.
