Sunday Christian Education:
Ages 3 years old through adult. Adult class is prior to morning worship. Children attend morning worship for the first half and then go to their classes. Children are involved with singing and classroom activities that broaden their knowledge of their walk with the Lord. Adults participate in an active study of the Bible where individual involvement is encouraged.
Weekly Bible Study:
A Bible study is held on Wednesday morning at 9:30. Everyone is encouraged to attend!
Local and World Missions:
First Federated Church supports many missions around the world and locally. Some of those missions are:
- Samaritan Mission Council in Romona Dominican Republic
- Sonshine Children's Home
- Back Bay Missions
- Murrow Indian Children's Home
- Christian Appalachian Project
- India Mission
- Boston Seaman's Assoc
- Hudson Food Pantry (donations typically received the first Sunday of the month)
- Our Father's Table (we host the second Monday of the month, every other month)
- Heifer International
Intercessory Prayer:
We believe that prayer is an important part of Christian Life. Through an active Prayer Chain, immediate needs are lifted to the Lord. A prayer session is held each Wednesday morning at 9:00 in the Sanctuary.
Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting
This AA meeting is held each Monday evening at 8:00 pm in Ross Hall. This is an open meeting and the public is welcome.
AA 12 Step Program
This meeting is held each Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm and is for AA members only.
Sobriety First
Sobriety First meets each Saturday evening at 7:30 pm.
